How I Work
I’m a dreamer and doer, and I design for insight, imagination, and social integration so that growth endures—even during the toughest times. My work is rooted in deep listening and built for real impact, shaped by experience across sectors and a commitment to whole-person, whole-system development.
When we design for real connection—between people, parts of a system, and past and future—that’s when change takes hold: alive, adaptive, and built to last.
What Shapes Me
I’ve always been drawn to the places where people, ideas, and environments intersect—and I’ve built a career exploring how we grow within them.
From designing forest escape rooms to co-teaching rhythm-based conflict resolution, to facilitating leadership labs inside contemporary art museums, I bring an interdisciplinary lens to everything I do.
That spirit of cross-pollination—blending context, craft, and curiosity—is central to my approach. It’s how I help leaders and teams spark new perspectives, make meaningful connections, and build cultures where creativity and complexity can thrive.
Who I’ve Worked With
I’ve supported thousands of clients across sectors—from Microsoft and Novant Health to Duke’s Fuqua School of Business, UNC Executive Education, Communities in Schools, and the NC and VT State College systems.
I currently serve as a Core Facilitator at Triangle Training Center and as a leadership coach and curriculum developer for The Growth Partnership’s professional development programs.
I also design and lead learning experiences across the nonprofit, corporate, and education sectors—and proudly teach conflict resolution, bioethics, and intercultural communication at the Community College of Vermont, where I received the Best Practice Teaching Award.
Where I’m Rooted
I live with my family and two big dogs in Saxapahaw, North Carolina—a tiny village with a big heart. When I’m not working, you’ll find me trail running, kayaking, playing tennis, or attending concerts.
I serve as a hike leader and leadership advisor with the Women of the Triangle Hiking Club and am the founder of Saxapahaw Netwalking—a nature-inspired initiative to build stronger social networks.
Credentials
I hold a Master’s in Mediation and Applied Conflict Studies, am an ICF-certified coach, and bring deep experience with a variety of assessments and tools to help individuals and teams grow.
